About Us

Our society has been established on July of 2003 by Tevfika İkiz Tunaboylu, Funda Akkapulu, Elif Yavuz,Bengi Pirim Düşgör,İrem Erdem Atak,Burçin Alsancak,and Neslihan Zabcı.
The object of the Society of Rorschach and Projective Tests is to introduce, make available and improve the use of Rorschach and the projective tests those are considered as the most significant measurement tools in evaluating and diagnosing mental illnesses.
The society shall not be involved in politics.
In order to achieve its aim, the society organizes scientific meetings, seminars, forums, conferences, panels, symposiums and publishes magazines, leaflets, posters and books. It arranges a variety of events and meetings to improve the knowledge and experience of the members in use of Rorschach and other projective techniques. It coordinates with other related organizations and associations for the improvement of Rorschach and the projective tests.

ISR-International Society of the Rorschach and Projective Methods

ISR is an internationally active organization with members from 25 countries which supports the improvement, usage and training of all projective tests and conducting activities worldwide. ISR aims to organize various educational activities all over the world in order to promote and improve the training and usage of projective tests to train more competent practitioners and clinicians. The association also aims to supervise and control the trainings that are organized in different countries.

The goal of the international congress of projective tests which is held triennially by ISR is to share and discuss the studies from all over the world in a common ground and to promote interaction between participians and member associations. The 20th congress will be held in Tokyo in July 2011 and our association is currently working on bringing the congress in 2014 to Istanbul.

The ISR bullettin which is issued annually and sent to member associations is prepared in order to keep all member states informed of important activities and events form all over the world.

Another product of ISR is the journal Rorschachiana which is regularly published on March and September every year. This journal aims to share international studies on Rorschach and other projective test. The journal which is going to publish its 32nd issue in 2011, is an international peer-reviewed journal that opens its doors to all studies in this field.

Another activity of ISR is Summer Seminars, the seventh of which will be held this year in Montreux. This 3-day summer seminars will provide training and sharing activities for member associations from all over the world.

Our association with 80 members is proud to be a member of this internationally active organization and pursues to study in both national and international level of interaction.
